As summer approaches and the temperature hits record highs, #HugosEarthquake launches its very own ‘Somewhere in Summer’ campaign to help raise awareness of those who suffer on the streets in heat.
There is often much coverage about the plight of homeless people during winter, and calls for support during those difficult months – but it’s still difficult during sunny weather too. ‘Somewhere in Summer’ aims to bring homelessness to the front of people’s minds and address the horrible exclusion that the homeless face.
It’s a fact that people are made homeless every day and society in general seems to take notice mostly during winter – but homeless people are always ‘bedding down’ Somewhere in Summer.
SUPPORT ‘Somewhere in Summer’ by signing this petition to give to people whose job it is to have responsibility for the homeless:
Homelessness is something that can happen year round, and #HugosEarthquake aims to breakdown the stigma attached to homelessness, at any time of the year. Please support this important campaign as we reach the peak of the summer season.
Thank you for supporting #SomewhereInSummer.
